Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Stemilt Growers. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fruit packing lines, including water systems, pipes, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fruit packing lines, including water systems, pipes, and equipment.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with fruit packing lines.
  • Work with chemicals and materials used in fruit packing lines.
  • Collaborate with fabrication shop to recycle materials when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in mechanical, electrical, and computerized background in line equipment.
  • Several years of experience in commercial plumbing, water lines, air lines, and underground pipe installations.
  • Good mechanical comprehension and understanding of fruit packing chemicals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Flexible with working schedule.
  • Must have personal tools.
  • Knowledge of fruit packing lines.
  • Background with welding and fabricating a plus.
