Position Overview:

As a member of the nursing faculty at Stratford, you will join a distinguished group of professionals committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Faculty members play a crucial role in shaping academic policies and programs while contributing to the overall effectiveness and strategic vision of the institution. You will be responsible for delivering impactful classroom and clinical instruction that fosters student learning, retention, and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and assess the philosophy and objectives of the nursing education program.
  • Create, deliver, and refine the curriculum to meet educational standards.
  • Facilitate the curriculum as outlined by faculty and administrative leadership.
  • Maintain and update course syllabi in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Incorporate hybrid learning components, including interactive discussions.
  • Assist in selecting educational materials and resources.
  • Encourage student engagement and success through active learning strategies.
  • Develop and assess policies for student admission, progression, retention, and graduation.
  • Participate in academic advising and student support initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from students and alumni to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Utilize library resources and educational technology to enhance learning.
  • Adhere to lesson plans to maintain instructional integrity.
  • Stay current in your area of expertise.
  • Engage in university-wide activities, including orientations and faculty meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records related to student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in regular faculty meetings and document discussions.
