Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at InterMed, P.A. as a Full-Time and Part-Time X-Ray Technologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality digital radiographs by utilizing proper techniques, including equipment adjustment, patient positioning, and radiation protection.
  • Competently perform pediatric and adult studies as outlined in protocol manuals.
  • Gather necessary information for successful studies and obtain additional films as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized x-ray room and work area.
  • Report equipment issues and assist in resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact well with radiologists, staff, and patients.
  • Act as a clinical mentor to radiography students and provide guidance and competency testing.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an AMA-accredited radiology program.
  • State of Maine and ARRT licensure.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
