Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietician to join our team at Parkside Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing personalized nutritional care to our residents and patients.

• Nutritional Assessments: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Nutritional Counseling: Provide education and counseling to residents and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
• Dietary In-Service Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on nutrition-related topics and best practices.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties as assigned by management, including data entry and record-keeping.

• Education and Licensure: Possess a Registered Dietitian credential and a valid Florida license.
• Experience: Proven experience in long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation settings.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong decision-making and judgment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in enteral nutrition, wound care, weight management, and Hemodialysis.
• Technology: Familiarity with electronic charting tools, such as Point Click Care.
