We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Club Wyndham Smoky Mtns. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our resort's facilities and amenities are always in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete and file work orders, submit completed work orders and time sheets to the dispatcher
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on resort facilities and equipment
- Respond to work orders and after-hours emergency calls
- Repair and replace doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry; perform remodeling work; maintain water heaters, pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, and Jacuzzis; solder, braze, and repair electrical systems
- Follow directives from the Maintenance Manager and provide suggestions for process improvements
- Complete work assignments for electrical, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, appliance, grounds, custodial, and general repairs as directed by staff, owners/guests, or company-owned facilities
- Must have a flexible schedule during peak periods to maintain work quality and output
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical issues
- EPA-approved technician certification and Pool Operators Certificate (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and one year of technical training after high school
