Job Title: Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Support

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Support to join our team at Applied Behavioral Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing behavioral support and intervention services to children and staff in our center, utilizing ABA methodology and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' learning needs and areas of intervention.
  • Intervention Planning and Implementation: Provide intervention services to contract students as prescribed in contract, and ODE students as prescribed.
  • Supervision and Collaboration: Responsible for direct supervision of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Director.
  • Progress Monitoring and Data Collection: Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and intervention effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Track and document extra hours needed for clients that will not meet 1,000 hours due to attendance or placement and communicate the hours needed to parents quarterly.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field, and 2+ years of experience in behavioral support and intervention services.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to learn quickly, detail-oriented, organizational skills, punctuality, good attendance, good customer service skills, ability to play with children, ability to change diapers, ability to toilet train.
