New Britain General is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Medical Surgical units across multiple hours and shifts.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at New Britain General, you will have the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Our Medical Surgical Registered Nurses have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements:
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- Minimum One year of experience of recent Acute Care RN experience required
