Home Care LPN

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for home care visits throughout the State of Delaware.
As a LPN with Interim Delaware, you will provide routine nursing care visits to clients in their homes or group home settings, following specific MD orders.
Some examples of the visits we do on a daily basis include:
- Diabetes oversight, where you will check the blood sugar and administer insulin if ordered.
- Foley catheter changes, bolus tube feedings, wound care, trach care, and medication administration.
- Visits where you will go out to the home on a weekly basis and fill the client's medication box and call in refills when needed.
We have multiple opportunities for nurses to make supplemental income and can work with you to build a schedule that suits your needs.
Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare and related needs.
- Completes timely and accurate clinical notes, including addressing patients' progress.
- Communicates with the physician and other staff of changes in the patients' needs.
- Able to perform CPR.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
