Job Title: Software Engineering Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Apogee Integration, LLC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading software development efforts and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software systems that meet customer requirements.
- Schedule Management: Ensure that tasks are completed on schedule by coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem Resolution: Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.
- Cloud Environment Understanding: Familiarize yourself with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Team Collaboration: Work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors to achieve project goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated experience working with Lean Agile methodologies.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in developing Single Page Applications using HTML5, CSS3, and Angular 2+, as well as hands-on experience with RESTful web services using Java 8+ or other technologies like Spring Framework 4+, or Spring Security 4+.
- Database Systems: Experience working with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB.
- Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, or SSL.
- Testing Platforms: Demonstrated hands-on experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests, as well as experience with testing platforms like Jest or Karma.
- DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with huge company match, paid time off, floating holidays, and more.
