Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Summa Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and administering physical therapy programs in accordance with professional guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the need for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer physical therapy programs, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care
  • Conduct patient assessments and progress evaluations to adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Board certification in clinical specialty areas and/or advanced degrees in healthcare field (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as lifting and transferring patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a clinical environment with exposure to communicable diseases and other potentially hazardous conditions.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $37.03-$55.55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
