Regional Coordinator for Southeast Region

About the Role:The Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11 is seeking a highly motivated and organized Regional Coordinator to join our team. As a Regional Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting families and professionals in the Southeast Region.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to family member requests for connection with Peer Supporters and provide additional resources as needed.
- Recruit and support Peer Supporters for the program.
- Participate in regular review meetings with the supervisor to discuss program goals and progress.
- Complete evaluation and customer satisfaction activities, including follow-up on match requests and outreach evaluation.
- Provide presentations about the Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania program to family members and professionals.
- Participate in outreach activities, such as conferences and events.
- Travel within and outside the region as needed to fulfill responsibilities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Parent or family member of a person with a developmental delay, disability, or special health care need (preferred).
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to present in a public forum.
- Strong parent/professional collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with basic word processing and email.
- Ability to become proficient with database programs.
