We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Floating Daycare Educator to join our team at Yellow Brick Road Child Care I. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotate between different classrooms, assisting with daily activities and lessons across all age groups, from infants to school-age children.
  • Provide support wherever needed, from leading small group activities to one-on-one mentoring, helping to manage classroom dynamics, and stepping in for lead teachers as required.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and engaging environment in every class you assist.
  • Engage with all children, building strong relationships and becoming a familiar, comforting presence in their day.
  • Collaborate closely with the entire teaching staff, offering flexibility and support across the center.
Requirements
  • A flexible and adaptable educator who enjoys working with children of various ages and developmental stages.
  • Personable and friendly, with a knack for quickly forming strong, positive relationships with children.
  • A supportive team player who can jump into any situation and contribute effectively.

Please note that meeting the basic requirements of the local childcare regulatory agency is mandatory. Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs and properly lift infants into and out of a crib is also required.
