Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and motivated Owner Operator Drivers to join our fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations safely and on time. We offer competitive pay based on completed deliveries, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work as an independent contractor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate your own van or box truck to deliver goods, adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Receive delivery assignments and routes from our dispatch team to ensure efficient transportation.
- Load, transport, and unload goods securely while meeting delivery schedules.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including all necessary documentation and proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and special instructions.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations to maintain safety during transportation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation of your delivery vehicle.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a van or box truck driver is preferred.
- Efficient loading and unloading of goods.
- Knowledge of commercial driving practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills for positive client interactions.
- Forklift experience is beneficial.
- Comfortable with tractor-trailer operations if required.
