Job Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel/Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our medium duty fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely repairs and maintenance on refrigeration units, PMs, and A/C systems
  • Conduct safety inspections and prepare necessary documentation
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Inspect and perform work on undercarriage components
  • Access and repair equipment in confined spaces
  • Remove and install vehicle parts as needed
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues through email and phone
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience with refrigeration units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
  • 607 and 608 Certifications required and/or obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Experience with PMs and A/C systems
  • Valid Class C Driver's License
  • Ability to provide own hand tools and toolbox
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Fleet Management Systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas and hazardous materials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift, bend, and crawl to repair vehicles
