Job Summary:

The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the legal team, providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate and business transactions. This includes complex interagency relationships, equipment purchases, and other corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate and business transactions
• Draft and negotiate agreements and other documents
• Assist in managing and responding to FOIL requests
• Collaborate with external counsel on specific projects
• Assist in corporate governance matters, including Board of Directors management

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from a recognized institution and admission to the New York State Bar
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
