CNC Coiler

Job Title: CNC Coiler & Spring Machine Setup Operator

Pay: $25/Hour

Location: Hugo, MN

Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thu, 7am - 4:30pm and Friday, 7am - 12:30pm, O/T is optional.

Daily Functions:

• Operate, setup and run CNC machines.
• Maintain revision control records.
• Maintain customer fixtures and samples.
• Maintain inspection records.
• Maintain lot control.
• Maintain supporting job requirement records.
• Maintain tooling fixtures.

Desired Qualifications:

• High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask, with CNC programming experience, a must.
• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2-5+ years' experience in CNC programming.
• Ability to operate, setup and run CNC machines.
• Ability to identify spring type.
• Ability to read prints and design sheets, including initial tension, rate, force, etc. requirements.
• Ability to determine inspection requirements and use test equipment.
• Ability to determine the wire requirements for the job.
• Ability to identify grades of raw material.
• Ability to convert fractions.
• Ability to determine tooling needs for job requirement.
• Ability to tool and program machine.
• Strong mechanical aptitude support required.
• Ability to use forklift.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting 50lbs rarely.
• Work requires long-term standing, strength, and exertion with fixturing and tooling machines, frequent use of CNC controller monitor, frequent movement of equipment and materials requiring exertion of greater than 30 pounds force. There is frequent movement within the facility to communicate with staff.
• Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
• Vision must be sufficient to read precision measurement tools along with words, numbers, and detailed diagrams on paper and/or computer screens.
