About the Position
The Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Hospitalist to enhance our exceptional services. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier medical care within our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the emergency and critical care teams to manage patient transfers requiring hospitalization.
- Handle same-day emergency follow-ups and low acuity cases, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Assist in the intake and ongoing management of hospitalized patients, developing and recommending treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and facilitate transfers to specialty services as necessary.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine or have completed an internship. We value individuals who are collaborative, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a supportive team environment.
