Job Summary

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Tech to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders and chemical dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and supportive services to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Carry out various patient care activities that support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and meet patients' needs for comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, with 1 year of experience in the behavioral health field, or an Associate's Degree and 3 years' experience in an inpatient setting, or 5 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric settings.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct patient care experience in a hospital or inpatient mental health facility.

Work Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Yes, weekends are required. On-call requirements are not applicable.
