Position Overview:
The Overnight Hotel Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of the hotel by reconciling all cashier transactions, preparing management reports, and verifying the accuracy of guest billings. This position also encompasses various guest service responsibilities, including check-in and check-out procedures, as well as handling reservations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile financial transactions and reports.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and month-end reports in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Perform guest service functions, including check-ins, check-outs, and managing reservations.
  • Audit and consolidate cashier reports for Front Desk and Food & Beverage departments.
  • Ensure timely processing of credit card transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and input financial data into the corporate system.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any operational or financial discrepancies.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests to ensure overall satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; one year of experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Experience in guest services is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Salary Range:
$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr
