Our OpportunityWe are seeking a Principal Scientist to lead our Health Sciences Practice in Exposure Assessment and/or Risk Assessment. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with scientists to deliver client-facing projects related to human health, including litigation support.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects and identify new business opportunities
- Develop and secure new clients and projects
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Develop and mentor staff in technical and business areas
- Provide project management and budget oversight
- Publish and present study findings
- Provide strategic consulting and expert witness work
- Doctoral degree in Environmental or Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field
- Minimum 15 years of related experience (post-graduate)
- Minimum 5-10 years of consulting experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative risk assessment skills
- Outstanding reputation among clients for integrity, responsiveness, and technical expertise
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong commitment to professional development

CompensationWe offer a total compensation package that includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution. The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $290,000, dependent on experience and capabilities.
