BAYADA Home Health Care is currently in search of a Junior level student Intern to support our Adult Reimbursement Services division.

Key Responsibilities:

Through practical experience, Interns at BAYADA Home Health Care will gain comprehensive insights into patient billing and reimbursement processes, paving the way to becoming a Reimbursement Associate.

As an Intern in the Reimbursement team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze, compare, and manage Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), payments, denials, and underpayments.
  • Review billing, payment, and bad debt records in collaboration with management.
  • Maintain and update all files consistently.
  • Oversee a portfolio of client accounts in accordance with Reimbursement Office policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Care Administration, or a related Business field.
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and achieving goals.
  • Ambition to progress and excel beyond the current role.
  • Proficient in computer skills and effective communication.
  • Exemplary ethical standards.
  • Availability for 3-5 days per week is essential.
  • Must be able to commit to 25-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.
