Join Our Team as a Radiology Nurse Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This full-time position focuses on the coordination of all Interventional Radiology operations while ensuring exemplary patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for assigned patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Support physicians during examinations and procedures related to radiology and special cases.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient care documentation and records.
- Encourage patient autonomy through education and the establishment of care goals.
- Collaborate with various healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- A minimum of three years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
