Position Summary:

This position plays a vital role in the daily functions of Cash Accounting, merging conventional accounting responsibilities with operational support to ensure customer payment accuracy. Key duties encompass the preparation of general ledger entries, monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and the implementation of relevant internal controls. A solid understanding of accounting principles, coupled with the ability to investigate and reconcile intricate accounts, as well as strong communication skills, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare entries for the general ledger.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Implement and adhere to necessary internal controls.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including internal departments and external partners.
  • Contribute to monthly analyses and provide explanations for bank and processing fees.
  • Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Be prepared for potential overtime, especially during month-end closing periods, to fulfill job requirements.
