Quality Assurance Inspector I at a Leading Medical Device Firm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Apply inspection protocols and technical schematics to conduct quality evaluations on consumable items, subassemblies, and raw materials. Leverage strong analytical and technical skills to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Employ various measurement tools and gather data to assess component acceptability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to communicate quality expectations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Execute final audits of pre-sterilized products, confirming appropriate Sterile Load configurations and authorizing Sterile Load release.
  • Create Nonconformance Reports to document and manage nonconforming materials.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within electrical, mechanical, aviation inspection, or medical device manufacturing. Experience with microscopes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Government Regulated Environments such as FDA or ISO.
  • Knowledge of AQL Sampling using C=0 Sampling Plan and proficiency with precision testing instruments.
  • Experience in Cleanroom Environments is preferred.
  • Ability to meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements for this position.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.20 to $28.27, with eligibility for overtime. Actual pay may vary based on various factors including experience, skills, and geographical location.

Additional compensation options, such as annual bonuses or long-term incentives, may be available. Employees can participate in our comprehensive benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401k matching, HSA contributions, stock purchase plans, and education reimbursement.

Additional Information:

US work authorization is required for employment. Philips does not sponsor work-authorized visas.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to the designated location.
