We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications and treatments to patients
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- RN licensure by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Specialty certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred
- 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in ICU
