SKLD Muskegon is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team. As a charge nurse, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care and superior customer service to all residents on your unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the nursing leadership team in planning, developing, and operating the facility while ensuring all residents receive quality care 24 hours a day.
  • Assess residents' conditions to implement interventions and develop care plans.
  • Accurately document observations for residents in Point Click Care PCC to ensure care plans are being followed.
  • Ensure facility medical records, policies, and procedures are adhered to.
  • Regularly round on residents both independently and with physician; observe and evaluate symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments. Implement interventions and medications as necessary.
  • Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care directed to the physiological and psychosocial needs for the well-being of residents.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR certification required.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is desired (not required).
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations preferred.
