Job Overview

The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various facilities, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes, showers, stairwells, corridors, and elevators. Key responsibilities include:
  • Thoroughly cleaning offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break rooms, libraries, kitchenettes, stairways, locker rooms, and other designated areas.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a clean environment.
  • Vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dusting furniture and equipment to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Polishing metal fixtures and fittings to uphold quality standards.
  • Washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork to ensure cleanliness.
  • Cleaning door panels and sills.
  • Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas while recycling materials appropriately.
  • Replenishing restroom supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring high-quality work is consistently produced.
  • Adhering to Didlake policies regarding conduct and demeanor.
  • Following safety standards and guidelines when using equipment and performing tasks.
  • Completing all required training as mandated by Didlake.

Qualifications

Education:
  • High School diploma/GED or 6 months of relevant custodial experience.

  • Capability to work in environments with narrow, moving, and/or slippery surfaces.
