Job Summary:
We are seeking an Adjunct Professor to join our Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the program, as well as contributing to the development of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum
- Assess student coursework and provide feedback
- Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Physical Therapy Program resulting in licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Preferred Qualification: Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Candidates must possess a strong foundation in physical therapy principles, practices, and clinical skills
Required Skills:
- Clinical Expertise: Extensive clinical experience in physical therapy
- Teaching Proficiency: Proven ability to teach and mentor students effectively
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and clinical partners
