Job Summary

Summit Pathology Laboratories in Loveland, CO has an opportunity for a qualified Histology Laboratory Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, and equipment maintenance to ensure timely and high-quality preparation of histology specimens. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate competency in using multiple computer systems, practice excellent customer service skills, be willing to work any shift, and demonstrate independent judgment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Two years' experience at the bench level
• New Graduate from a Histology Program will be considered
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Must have strong mental and visual concentration
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication
• Starting pay range for this position: $27-$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
