About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surface Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Army National Guard Units. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with a wide range of vehicles and equipment, from combat vehicles to commercial trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections, lubrication, and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our assets.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience working with heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$52,000 - $80,000 per year.
