Custodian II

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian II to join our team at Boyd Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including picking up and removing trash and debris.
• Operate a stripping machine, pulling, pushing, and maneuvering a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Remove trash, clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom, or shampoo machine.
• Responsible for property clean up, including bio-chemical material.
• Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 or 21 (varies by property)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of carpet and floor care, chemicals, and equipment.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
