New York, New York, United States DAVITA Full time

DAVITA offers a rewarding career opportunity for a Nurse Specialist to provide compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure and chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting.

About the Role

As a Nurse Specialist at DAVITA, you will deliver individualized treatment plans, support patient recovery, and foster long-term relationships with patients and their families while working with a dedicated team. Our supportive work environment prioritizes quality patient care and provides extensive training for those new to nephrology.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and caring professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in an empathetic and compassionate manner. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.

This role requires flexibility and the ability to work varying shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and rotating Saturdays. In return, you can expect:

  • To build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
  • To be part of a team that values teamwork and collaboration.
  • To deliver care to patients who require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.

We offer a competitive salary of $52.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more. Our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most, including family resources, EAP counseling sessions, access to Headspace, backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, and more.

Requirements

We are seeking an Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N). Three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

At DAVITA, we strive to be a community first and a company second. We want all teammates to experience DAVITA as 'a place where I belong.' Our goal is to embed Diversity & Belonging into everything we do in our Village, so that it becomes part of who we are. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
