Call Responsibilities:
1 night per week & every 3rd weekend

Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting diagnostic studies such as EMG, electrocardiograms, compartment pressure measurements, and various x-ray examinations including CT, MRI, and bone scans.
- Assisting in surgical procedures, including first assist roles, tissue closures, and application of orthopedic appliances, while also performing hospital rounds and writing orders.
- Serving as the primary orthopedic call provider for patients in the emergency department and various inpatient units.
Essential Skills and Procedures:
- Proficiency in digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures including tendon repair, wound management, and hardware removal.
- Competence in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as joint aspirations, closed reductions of fractures, and joint injections.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- EMR System: Epic
Additional Information:
- The site requires 4 hours of unpaid Epic training (with an option to test out after 2 hours).
- Travel, accommodation, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
- Current OR License
- Board Certified
- Availability for Full-time work
- Eligibility for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges
- Completion of NPDB Self-query
