Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic and corporate policies and procedures.
- Makes staff assignments and creates schedules, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Monitors counselor's productivity and develops improvement plans when requirements are not met.
- Ensures quality resident care, conducts treatment plan reviews as needed, and performs chart audits to communicate results to staff.
- Assesses level of care for residents, conducts treatment plan reviews as required, and participates in reviews to ensure adherence to policy, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assists with the recruitment, hiring, and training of qualified clinical staff.
- May be involved in crisis intervention and work as a liaison within the community.
- Ensures ethical and professional conduct by clinical staff.
- Master's Degree in behavioral or related field and 3 years clinical experience in a health or human service agency, one year of which working directly with behavioral health or addiction recovery population.
- CAC, LSW, or LPC preferred.
