UNC Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Ambulatory Care Center in Chapel Hill, NC.
In this full-time position, you will provide high-quality care across the orthopedic continuum, including postoperative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, work-related injuries, sports and recreational medicine, and geriatric care.
Our clinic emphasizes 45-minute, one-on-one sessions to ensure personalized, patient-centered care, allowing you to deliver optimal outcomes and build strong therapeutic relationships.
Diverse Patient Population:
Work with a broad range of patients, including those from underserved communities and individuals who speak languages other than English, enriching your professional experience and cultural competency.
One-on-One Patient Care:
Provide 45-minute, individualized treatments, ensuring personalized, high-quality care that allows for optimal patient outcomes and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Mentorship & Growth:
Collaborate with experienced therapists and an orthopedic physical therapy resident, participate in mentorship opportunities, and engage in continuing education programs.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor students and residents, contributing to the development of future professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evidence-based evaluations and administer comprehensive treatments to address mobility disorders and related impairments in a wide range of patient populations.
- Provide supervision and education to graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents, contributing to the development of innovative care programs.
- Serve as a clinical resource and participate in outreach initiatives that target underserved populations.
- Engage with the community through the clinic's food bank, outreach committee, and participation in local sporting events to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine is preferred.
