Exterior Construction Technician Job Description

Specialty Termite is hiring an experienced Exterior Construction Technician to join our team in Pleasanton. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing roofing materials, performing carpentry work, and ensuring waterproofing and leak detection.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Install roofing materials, including comp, concrete, and clay tile
  • Carpentry work related to roofing, including framing and sheathing
  • Inspect and diagnose potential issues with roofs and walls
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Communicate effectively with customers to meet their needs and expectations
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in roofing installation and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme environments, including hot sun, cold temperatures, and steep pitches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary & Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
