Job Summary:

EvergreenHealth is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with lymphedema and oncology rehabilitation needs. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their optimal functional level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform individualized evaluations and ongoing assessments to address special needs and behaviors.
  • Develop treatment goals in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, focusing on time-specific and result-driven outcomes.
  • Develop and revise treatment plans as necessary, in coordination with the physician, patient, and family.
  • Assume responsibility for instruction and supervision of Therapy Aides in patient care activities, adhering to hospital policies and medical regulations.
  • Accountable for following attendance, punctuality, and overall dependability guidelines.
  • Complete responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals, and values.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Washington.
  • Baccalaureate, Master's Degree, or certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
  • Knowledge and training in the special needs of patients from young adult to geriatric ages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in Lymphedema and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation.
  • Lymphedema Rehabilitation Certified from an accredited lymphedema program.
  • Skilled in components of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).
  • Knowledgeable regarding forms of Breast Cancer, diagnostics, treatment approaches, and side effects of Breast Cancer treatments.
