Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications and facilitate the transition from estimating to operational execution.
  • Compile a comprehensive submittal package detailing materials and fixtures for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including preliminary notices and insurance certificates.
  • Submit requests for information (RFIs) and change orders to the general contractor.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and compliance.
  • Assist drafters in creating accurate construction drawings.
  • Generate purchase orders and manage material procurement.
  • Oversee labor, equipment, and material costs to maintain budgetary constraints and quality standards.
  • Develop and track schedules for plumbing projects.
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Schedule site walkthroughs, installations, and project completions.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to project initiation.
  • Coordinate permit inspections and prepare necessary documentation for project closeouts.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
  • Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • Able to make informed decisions and maintain organization in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and QuickBooks is advantageous
  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related construction fields is a plus
