Certification Requirements

Position Overview
  • The role involves conducting sonographic assessments across all age groups, from newborns to seniors, ensuring optimal departmental functionality and maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Additional responsibilities may include performing clerical tasks or other departmental duties as required.
  • Proficiency in obstetric sonography is crucial, with the ability to operate independently in the absence of a Radiologist.
  • Experience in limited vascular and abdominal imaging is also necessary.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent training.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant post-graduate experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer systems is advantageous.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
  • Candidates who are registry eligible with ARDMS will also be considered.
  • Possession of the skills and knowledge typically required for a registered Sonographer is essential.

  • Housing is not provided; candidates will share accommodations.
  • This position does not offer holiday rate pay.
  • Orientation sessions for new hires are conducted weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
