- Immunization Mandates: Compliance with immunization standards set by our Nurse Administrator is essential, including:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella
- T-Dap
- Polio
- Documentation of titers and/or historical vaccination records.
- The role involves conducting sonographic assessments across all age groups, from newborns to seniors, ensuring optimal departmental functionality and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Additional responsibilities may include performing clerical tasks or other departmental duties as required.
- Proficiency in obstetric sonography is crucial, with the ability to operate independently in the absence of a Radiologist.
- Experience in limited vascular and abdominal imaging is also necessary.
- Completion of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent training.
- A minimum of two years of relevant post-graduate experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer systems is advantageous.
- Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
- Candidates who are registry eligible with ARDMS will also be considered.
- Possession of the skills and knowledge typically required for a registered Sonographer is essential.
- Housing is not provided; candidates will share accommodations.
- This position does not offer holiday rate pay.
- Orientation sessions for new hires are conducted weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
