Millwright and Pipefitter Apprenticeship Instructor

Fox Valley Technical College is seeking a qualified Instructor to teach in the Millwright and Pipefitter Apprenticeship Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students and developing curriculum that meets the needs of students and employers.

• Develop and deliver instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and support student engagement.
• Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to help students be successful.
• Develop and continually revise curriculum and instructional materials that are competency-based, current, and aligned with employer expectations.
• Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, and ensure opportunities for student engagement.
• Support the college by engaging in division, department, and team activities, and meetings.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with community, industry, and clinical partners.
• Serve as an advocate for students and engage in activities that help students reach their goals.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Verifiable/documented Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship completion, and a minimum of two years of occupational experience in the field of the program or programs being taught.
• A minimum of five years occupational experience post-apprenticeship is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in Pipefitting, Automation & Electro-Mechanical fields is preferred.
• Teaching or training experience is desirable.

The work environment is typically performed in a classroom. The Instructor position may require off-site teaching, fieldwork, or travel for professional development.
