Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring that all nursing activities are performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Acts and current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing physical assessments, and developing care plans.
- Supervise nursing staff, including delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all nursing activities are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all nursing activities are performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Acts and current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing department.
- Participate in surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator.
- Current state license in good standing.
