About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of others. As a Flex Team Member, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our residents and clients, including monitoring their health and behavior, communicating with our interdisciplinary team, and maintaining confidentiality of their records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Wellness: Monitor the health and behavior of residents and clients, reporting any concerns or issues to our care team.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other members of our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, and social workers.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of resident and client records, adhering to our strict data protection policies.
  • Care Planning: Familiarize yourself with individual care plans and emergency procedures, ensuring that our residents and clients receive the best possible care.
  • Household Duties: Assist with household and housekeeping duties, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents and clients.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in elder care and disability support.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Two years of applicable elder care services experience in multiple building settings, preferably in a community setting.
  • Certification: CBRF or other required training per facility regulation as required by care setting.
