Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food, including texture modified and therapeutic diets, following facility menus and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, preparing, serving, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
  • Support Dietary Aide as necessary and direct other employees with approval.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, pleasant, and tactful interaction with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in food preparation preferred.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required.
