Boomi Integration Specialist

As a Boomi Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Boomi integration platform. You will help to mature our team by providing technical expertise and leadership around our key business-to-business integration projects.
You will insist on high standards for everything we deliver, coach and mentor team members, and ensure we exceed our customers' expectations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in system integrations and system administration of Boomi, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a track record of successfully delivering complex integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management:
Lead the day-to-day operations and support of the Boomi platform, including performance tuning, capacity planning, observability, and incident management.
Ensure environments are current, stable, and healthy.Integration Architecture:
Design and implement simple and complex integration solutions, leveraging best practices and industry standards
Team Leadership:
Mentor and develop the integration team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Problem Solving:
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve critical integration issues, minimizing business impact
Strategic Planning:
Proactively collaborate with business stakeholders to identify integration opportunities and define the integration roadmap
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related field, and 5+ years of experience owning an integration platform, preferably Boomi
5+ years of experience managing integrations with third-party APIs, data transformation and mapping, and developing integrations for both on-prem and cloud-based systems
Deep understanding of EDI Documents and X12 EDI Standards
Experience with API Security, API Governance, API Management and API development life cycle (Azure API Management or others)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate closely with team members and leadership
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based setting
Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies preferred
Logistics industry experience a plus
