Key Responsibilities:
+ Address intricate process challenges that necessitate a thorough analysis of fundamental securities processing practices and industry benchmarks.
+ Mentor and support junior team members.
+ Supervise the team's risk and control operations, including identifying, reporting, escalating, and resolving breaks and suspensions.
+ Conduct managerial control assessments for the team's essential controls and assist in identifying and rectifying deficiencies in existing processes.
+ Facilitate approvals for payments, journal entries, and other managerial oversight responsibilities.
+ Act as an analytical or procedural authority for securities processing deliverables and initiatives.
+ Contribute to the development of innovative techniques and the streamlining of securities processing tasks.
+ Evaluate risks when making business decisions, with a particular focus on maintaining the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
+ Assist the team in pinpointing manual touchpoints in current processes to identify potential areas for enhancement.
Qualifications:
+ 5-8 years of pertinent experience.
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
