We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing. This is a critical role that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques and equipment
- Identify and label blood vials according to established procedures
- Practice proper patient identification and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with RNs and other healthcare professionals to achieve timely pre-procedure blood draws and testing
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy course (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated phlebotomy experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
