Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing. This is a critical role that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques and equipment
• Identify and label blood vials according to established procedures
• Practice proper patient identification and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with RNs and other healthcare professionals to achieve timely pre-procedure blood draws and testing

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified phlebotomy course (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated phlebotomy experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
