Corporate Accountant

Compensation:
$65-85K annually
Role Objective:
The primary aim of the Corporate Accountant is to execute timely and precise journal entries, conduct analytics, and perform bank and account reconciliations to facilitate monthly closing, financial reporting, and compliance filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and evaluation of accurate and timely reconciliations of general ledger accounts along with the posting of related journal entries.
Identify, investigate, and reconcile account discrepancies through detailed analysis, focusing on enhancing processes.
Ensure the overall accuracy and integrity of general ledger records and reconciliations.Develop and maintain SEC reporting documentation.
Assist in the month-end accounting close activities, including bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Guarantee adherence to accounting policies, reporting timelines, and ensure transactions are executed within a robust internal control framework.
Prepare and review schedules for internal and external auditors during audits.
Contribute to the creation of valuable financial reporting materials to aid management decision-making.
Foster and maintain effective relationships by collaborating cross-functionally with various departments, delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with other teams to enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience is required.
A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and demonstrated process enhancements.
Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Sage X3, is advantageous.
Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure and tight deadlines.
Working Conditions:
Standard office hours from Monday to Friday (9 am - 5 pm).
Hours may vary based on business needs.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required during the closing process.
