Habilitation Specialist

As a Habilitation Tech with BAYADA Home Health Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our team provides one-on-one support in home and community settings, empowering clients to reach their full potential.

• Accompany clients on errands and appointments to promote independence and community integration.
• Engage clients in their favorite hobbies and activities to foster a sense of purpose and enjoyment.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation, to promote self-sufficiency and confidence.
• Participate in community integration activities to help clients build relationships and connections.

• One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; paid training is available for those without prior experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
