Job Summary

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in medical imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and other medical imaging modalities.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain instructions, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting outcomes and making adjustments as needed.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
  • Transport patients as required, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Certifications may be required, depending on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse personnel.
