CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in medical imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and other medical imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain instructions, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting outcomes and making adjustments as needed.
- Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Transport patients as required, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Certifications may be required, depending on facility requirements.
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse personnel.
