Key Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine exams following established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Receive, calibrate, log, administer, and monitor radioactive isotopes, adhering to radiation safety practices and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and radiation safety data.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of resources to meet departmental productivity standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology.
- Current registry by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine (N) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- PET CT experience preferred.
